What to watch on TV tonight: Monday
EVERY WEEKDAY, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Prison Families (TV3, 9pm)
A new two-part documentary series focuses on four Irish families whose loved ones are behind bars. It was filmed over six months as they dealt with the heartbreak of family members missing births, deaths and important life milestones. Guaranteed to generate debate.
About A Boy (Sky 1, 9.30pm)
That’s correct – this is a US comedy series based on the Nick Hornby novel of the same name, which also inspired the 2002 Hugh Grant film. It’s a bit of a mystery how they stretched the plot into a series. Will it match up to the surprisingly lovely film? #AboutABoy
Our Gay Wedding: The Musical (Channel 4, 10pm)
This programme follows grooms Benjamin Till and Nathon Taylor, who have written their entire wedding as a musical. There’s sung vows, sung readings, and appearances from the likes of Boy George, Olivia Newton John and Stephen Fry. STEPHEN FRY, PEOPLE. #OurGayWedding

The series is wrapping up over in the US tonight, after revealing the story of how Ted Mosby met the mother of his children over nine (very long) years. Speaking to TV Guide, director Pam Fryman said they’ve tried “to tie up every loose ending we could think of” and leave fans with absolutely no questions. Sound.
